This is a game about exploiting the ‘error’ to make your life easier. The ‘error’ in this game is that the bounce of the player is not standardized and has an upper limit but it can only be activated by bouncing faster than normally possible therefore the player has to find ways to trigger this condition in a favorable part of the level.
This error is also very visual making it fun to trigger and experience
The level design I believe is the star of the game as all levels have 2 design goals to meet –Â
It should possible to play it like a traditional platformer but frustrating enough to encourage the players to look for other options.
It should reward the player for figuring out how to exploit the ‘error’ of the game for their benefit Â
These 2 approaches drastically change the gameplay as one has the player playing a challenging platformer while the other is solving a spatial puzzle in each level
